Return & Refund Policy

1. Australian Consumer Guarantees

Our goods are sold subject to the consumer guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This means you are entitled to a replacement or refund in case of a serious fault, damage on arrival, or if the product does not match what was advertised.

2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or wrong, inspect the items at delivery and notify the delivery driver immediately, or contact us within 48 hours of delivery if damage is discovered afterward, with photos of the issue.

  • Once we verify the issue, we will offer a full refund, replacement, or store credit, whichever you prefer. Return shipping for faulty/wrong items will be covered by us.

  • Refunds will be processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned goods.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns & Exchanges

We understand sometimes you may change your mind. Therefore:

  • You may return items within 7 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided the items are unused, in original packaging, with all accessories and proof of purchase.

  • Returns must be initiated via email to sales@constructioncollection.com.au with subject “Return Request – Order # [your number]” including name, order number, reason, and photos if applicable.

  • Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are borne by the customer. Restocking fees may apply, up to 25% of the item price.

  • Refunds for change-of-mind returns will be issued within 5 business days of receiving the returned goods.

4. Refund Methods
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout, or, at your request, as store credit for a future order.

5. Return Process - Steps to Follow

  1. Email us at sales@constructioncollection.com.au with subject “Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”.

  2. Provide your full name, order number, reason for return, and (if relevant) clear photos of the item and/or damage.

  3. We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a shipping label if we are covering shipping.

  4. Pack the items securely (in original packaging if possible) and include proof of purchase/return slip.

  5. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue the refund or store credit within 5 business days.

6. What is Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns

  • Items that have been used, installed, cut, or altered (e.g., tiles or flooring that have been laid or trimmed).

  • Items returned without original packaging, accessories, or proof of purchase.

  • Orders returned outside the 7-day window.
